We’ve prepared for you 4 days of conscious morning practice with cleansing and releasing Yin Yoga movement and Guided Thematic Meditations. At the end of this course, we will wrap up the year and breathe life into our wishes with a special New Years Manifestation Meditation.

Daily Themes

Guided meditations at the start of the day can bring many benefits to your health and wellbeing. It supports you to set yourself up for the day ahead, whatever that may be. If you can get into a daily morning practice, even for a couple of minutes, you will be surprised at how much calmer, focused, energised and creative you feel for the rest of your day.

Yin Yoga is a floor based, very relaxing, yet deep practice where we hold poses for longer to get deeper into connective tissues and our energetic body, moving beyond the muscles.

Each day of this course will be based on a special theme reflected within yoga and meditation guidance:

Day 1 : ‘Let go’ Releasing Mindful Practice

Meditation ( 9.00-9.40 CET)

A moment to let go and sink into a deep space of stillness, where we invite the body and mind to totally relax. With a gentle guided meditation you will be supported to gently release the past, let go of any fear of the future and settle into a space of gratitude and openness for what is about to come.

Yoga (9.45 – 10.30 CET)

After a relaxing meditation, ‘moving’ into the body with some gentle, slow and mindful movement. Connecting to the power and magic of our breath to let it guide us deeper into the body and stillness within, to unwind, release and cleanse.

Day 2 : Grounding in the Present

Meditation ( 9.00-9.40 CET)

From the foundation of guided meditation, we will ground ourselves in presence. This means being rooted in the ‘here and now’ while being fully connected to the Observer. We will connect to a silent, yet tremendously powerful space within, the space from which all of your love and joy blossoms, like a flower opening in the sun.

Yoga (9.45 – 10.30 CET)

Continuing with the feeling of being ‘present’ from our meditation into movement and embracing the art of going slow, feeling, sensing and experiencing our practice. Taking time in poses to connect to our bodies, ‘turning the volume up on the inside’ and learning to meet our body where it is. While exploring how movement can release more than just tight muscles and what’s behind the tension.

Day 3 : Opening Heart & Finding Strength through Vulnerability

Meditation ( 9.00-9.40 CET)

We will gently connect to our emotions (our life energy in flow) and our body sensations with love, acceptance and openness . By connecting with our hearts we become open to the opportunity to heal, refresh our energy and create the space for new beginnings. Our power is in the present moment and when we are connected with the heart this opens us to our ability to change and to heal whatsoever we focus on within ourself.

Yoga (9.45 – 10.30 CET)

Following this beautiful meditation, we move into some nourishing heart openers (poses) continuing the journey of creating space within body and mind. Moving into acceptance and experiencing the art of letting go! We hold so much in our bodies and Yin gives us the opportunity to ‘release’, ‘unwind’ and ‘experience’ what’s going on, on the inside. Allowing us to find strength to move deeper, through vulnerability and become softer.

Day 4 : Embracing the Unknown

Meditation ( 9.00-9.40 CET)

By removing the inner barriers that manifest as repeated thoughts and limiting beliefs, we come to a delicate point of balance where we can embrace the unknown from a space of certainty and strength. This arises as a feeling of being at home even when there is uncertainty around you. Where the body, heart and mind act as one, and flow together like a flock of birds, naturally and with an easiness.

Yoga (9.45 – 10.30 CET)

Following this powerful meditation in our final movement practice we’ll move into a lovely deep and nourishing session to complete our journey back to ourselves. As we invite a little more Yin into our lives, we find balance, through listening to what our bodies are communicating to us. We also realise the true meaning of ‘dis-ease’ within the body! Movement and breath are our natural medicine for the mind, body and soul

+ Wrap up session : Closing Circle & New Years Manifestation Meditation

(From 10.30 – 11.30 CET)

In a warm and supportive atmosphere, we will conclude this course and the year. Part of this closing circle will be a special guided meditation to release our wishes to the Universe and plant the seeds for a bright and prosperous future.

Practicalities

This event is suitable for all – beginners, intermediate and experienced in yoga and meditation.

To fully enjoy this event, we recommend to have handy:

  • For the Meditations: a comfortable quiet space – “creating your nest”, maybe dim the lights and/or some candles, favourite diffusers, gentle calming music
  • For the Yoga sessions: Yoga mat – A quiet and warm space to practice yoga – with enough space to lay, stretch and move around – Loose comfortable clothing (wear layers to keep warm because it is a slow practice) – Cushions & folded blankets (ideally 2 of each but MORE if you have them!) – Yoga Props (not essential): Yoga blocks/bricks, straps* and bolsters*

** a dressing gown belt is a great alternative for a yoga strap, and 2 x bed pillows instead of a bolster

Peter Harper

Peter is an experienced spiritual guide with more than 40 years of experience in self discovery and spiritual guidance. He divides his time hosting Meditation and Self Awareness Retreats and Workshops in Europe and creating Guided Meditation and Conscious Music recordings.

Peter is a founder of The Drunken Monk project connecting spirituality with daily life, using tools such as guided meditation recordings, Enlightenment Intensive process, Self Awareness retreats and workshops.

Amanda Bunton

Trained in the heart of the jungle in the magical mountains of stunning Sri Lanka, Amanda offers Hatha and Vinyasa flow, as well as Restorative, Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra. Amanda loves to bring an element of all practices into her classes, so you can learn and explore with each session. Each practice is an exploration of the body, moving the body with the breath, starting slow and building the practice from the ground upwards…you’ll be left feeling grounded and energised.

Amanda creates a safe, welcoming and calm environment for you to enjoy your practice with a smile. If you’re a total beginner yogi then, Amanda will guide you through the basics at your own pace and you can ask as many questions as you like!
