Counselling
“What I am is good enough if I would only be it openly.” – Carl R. Rogers
Counselling
I work as an Integrative Humanistic Counsellor, mainly using Person-Centred, Transactional Analysis and Gestalt elements. Within the counselling sessions, I include various practical techniques such as body work, meditation, active meditations, breathwork and guided visualisation to facilitate client’s direct experience. My approach is holistic, considering all levels of the client’s being – the mind, body, spirit and emotions.
I strongly believe, that the essential step in the therapy is to enable you to gain a full awareness (about the theme you come with, about yourself or the situation). This essential state opens the possibility for a self acceptance, an insight and positive change. The therapy is rooted in the “here and now”, yet considering the influences of past experiences (client’s history) as well as your future aspirations.
“On your journey, I walk with you, but it is you who chooses the direction…”
I fully accept each person in his/her uniqueness. The therapy is based on a mutual respect between myself and client – a partnership. I believe that the key to resolve any experienced challenge or to unlock your unique potential lies within you.
My role is the one to create a safe, non judgemental and supportive environment where you feel truly accepted and listened to. A space where you are encouraged to be authentic, to enquire, look deeper within you, to grow and develop. The aim is to support you to regain an autonomy, take a healthy responsibility and connect to your unique creative resources and self worth.
“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself as I am, I can change. “
